Brian Mallory

For almost 25 years, Brian Mallory, a real estate broker at Hobson Realtors, has helped buyers and sellers make informed real estate decisions through his unique expertise as a Tennessee-licensed real estate broker, certified residential appraiser, and licensed tax agent. His combination of brokerage, valuation, and property tax experience gives clients a deeper understanding of property values, market trends, and tax assessments, helping them make smarter real estate decisions. A respected leader in the Memphis real estate community, Brian served on the Board of Directors of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors and has also served on the Professional Standards Committee, Grievance Committee, MLS Committee, and Fair & Affordable Housing Committee.

As the owner of Mallory Appraisals and Mallory Property Tax Advisors, Brian has spent nearly a quarter century providing residential appraisal services and representing homeowners in property tax appeals throughout Shelby County. After being appointed by the Mayor of Memphis and serving on the Shelby County Board of Equalization, Brian recognized the lack of representation available to residential taxpayers. He subsequently obtained his tax agent license and founded Mallory Property Tax Advisors to help homeowners navigate the property assessment and appeals process. This valuation and tax expertise, combined with his experience as a real estate broker, enables him to offer clients insights and guidance that go far beyond typical real estate representation. His expertise in valuation and taxation provides clients with a well-rounded perspective on one of their most significant financial investments.

Brian grew up in Midtown, where he attended Grace-St. Luke's School, graduated from Memphis University School, and earned a BS from the University of Montana.

Brian and his wife, Michele, a yoga teacher, have two sons, Henry and Luke, who attend Columbia University in New York City. In his spare time, Brian enjoys fishing at Porter Lake.
